So we’ve totally fallen in love with Elnaz and Moe. Beyond their exquisite taste… it’s their love for family and generous nature- that’s Moe and Elnaz, that’s their heart. During our engagement session we really got to know them for the warm people they are- sending hugs to you guys( xoxo) thanks for having us be a part of your day, you were a joy to capture!!
Wedluxe Magazine features 8 glorious pages from this wedding in their current issue, on news stands now. We wanted to share with you our take on all the delights! When a wedding of this magnitude comes together, it’s probably got some serious planning effort behind it- this is the case here- CountDown Events, along with an incredible team from top to bottom brought it all together.
I asked Soha Lavin (from CountDown) about her experience planning Elnaz and Moe’s grand affair:
“The moment I got on the phone with Elnaz I knew we were in for a very exciting and grand project. To pull off her vision I had to hit the ground running…so much so that we had not even met in person yet and I had already secured the venue and several other key elements. What I loved about the design process was that we were all encouraged to come up with our “best” ideas and then the bride and groom truly trusted us to just make it happen for them. There were certainly challenges along the way like creating an outdoor atmosphere inside a hotel ballroom for the ceremony (but we sure did it) insert rows and rows of manzanilla trees….and bringing fragile and delicate vintage pieces from another country to complete Elnaz’s dream Sofreh (Persian wedding tradition) but it all came together quite beautifully on their wedding day! My favourite moment (actually I have SO many) was seeing Elnaz & Moe’s faces when they entered the room and saw our hard work….their reaction made the hundreds of hours leading up oh so worth it! I have to add in that we meet so many lovely people but working with E&M really energized all of us because of their passion for life and love for their family and friends…it made that day all that much sweeter for me and the entire team.”
I’ve borrowed this fantastic credits link from Wedluxe- be sure to check out the magazine in print, it really sings and the print quality is stellar. They’re going on 10 years publishing the most spectacular wedding magazine in Canada:
