At Home with Celia & Steven – Vancouver Engagement Session.

When Steven & Celia first walked into the studio, we were struck by their incredible elegance.  After getting to know them, it’s their kindness and generosity that stand out most.  Celia and Steven will marry this month in Vancouver and we are so excited for their union.  I can’t get enough of couples that are just so respectful and wonderful to each other.  What a perfect foundation for an incredible marriage.  OK, back to the elegance….  We shot at Celia’s beautiful Vancouver home.

They love to laugh together.  We had a lot of fun capturing images in this home that has meant so much to Celia over the years.  Celia had a dear friend create the florals around the home.  Yes, people, this is how this beautiful lady lives.  I’m so inspired by her dedication to dramatic, exceptional design.  Give me a reason why we shouldn’t absolutely love our surroundings.  Opulent or not, I think it’s worth the effort to create a space that reflects your joys and represents your personal style.  Also, Steven is a total score of a guy for getting with the pink, fabulous and delightful decor.  His only concern is for his lady’s happiness.  That’s hot stuff right there. So Celia actually has a boudoir.  A full-on, spectacular from ceiling to floor boudoir (Chadwick said I need to write “floor to ceiling”- but why is that?  What’s the difference?! My response- “Honey, get your own blog”. )
